| Last night I got the opportunity to learn how to prepare deer meat for the freezer. We made roasts, ground some for hamburger meat and chopped some for stew meat. It was a HUGE deer and we had a ton of meat. Joshua's parents were given the deer and we were able to split it between our two families while all working together!!!

| Gideon is almost four weeks old...he is quite a good baby, getting on a good feeding schedule and takes good naps. He has been so good in the car when we drive a good distance. He is soooo precious! Here are some of my favorite recent pictures.

| This week I have my two youngest brothers, Matthew and Benji staying with me to keep me busy and active...which is fine, we do school in the morning and they play outside a lot and in the afternoon they have quiet time where I get a little rest because I can definitely tell I'm in my 3rd trimester...I'm a lot slower...the boys however seem to have been quite enjoying their stay, they have gone shooting with Joshua, helped him chop wood...made a hideout and seen a snake and they were fascinated by our woodstove last night that we had to light because it was cold. Hopefully we will go hiking tonight if I can manage it and maybe visit some friends of theirs down here...but I'm glad to have some noise and messiness in our house although I do also miss my quiet!
